These server products support the 45nm Multi-Core Intel® Xeon® processor at FSB1333 MHz based on the Intel® 3200MCH (Bigby) server chipset and feature up to 8GB DDR2 800/667 memory capacity and PCI-E expansion slots support.

The P5BV family includes the P5BV-C Series, P5BV-E Series and P5BV Series, which are ready for the leading-edge 45nm Intel® Xeon® processor – offering higher frequency and greater energy efficiency and currently being the best Performance/Watt 1P platform. With FSB 1333MHz support, it provides a 25% more bandwidth compared to previous generation FSB 1066MHz products. The P5BV family also provides well-validated & market-proven mature SATA RAID drivers for both Windows and Linux OS.

As the speed of the Intranet greatly helps in sharing information and transferring data, the P5BV-C/4L with built-in Quad-LAN that features a “teaming” function integrates four high-speed gigabit LAN ports into a single one – providing almost four times the transferring bandwidth.
